These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScarTrack — Scar Care Log application ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

ScarTrack is an iOS application that helps you follow a scar-care routine and track its progress over time. Features include scar-maturation protocol templates, silicone and massage adherence reminders and streaks, guided photo capture with an alignment overlay, optional relative-trend measurement using a scale marker or LiDAR, a maturation-phase timeline, and surgeon-ready PDF and CSV export. Core features run on your device.

2. Important Limitations — Not Medical Advice

ScarTrack is a personal routine and progress-tracking tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional care. You understand and agree that:

• The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and does not provide medical advice. Its educational content is general and non-diagnostic.
• Protocol templates are general starting points based on published guidance. Your surgeon's or clinician's instructions always take priority over anything shown in the App.
• Measurements are relative trends for the same person over time, not clinical-grade measurements. Accuracy depends on lighting, framing, the scale reference, and device hardware, and should never be treated as an absolute clinical value.
• You should not start, stop, or change any treatment based solely on the App. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
• If you have signs of infection, dehiscence, or other complications, seek medical care — do not rely on the App.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only with photos and information you have the right to use. You agree not to:

• Capture or store photos of other people without their knowledge or consent where required by law
• Use the App to store unlawful content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's bundled content or logic
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or free-tier limitations
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or third-party rights

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: No charge. 1 active scar, a basic protocol template, silicone and massage reminders and streak, the guided photo timeline, and the last 30 days of history.
• Premium Monthly: $5.99/month. Unlimited scars and all protocol templates, measurement tools and side-by-side compare, full multi-month charts, per-scar reminders and custom targets, and surgeon-ready PDF and CSV export.
• Premium Annual: $29.99/year (save 58% vs. monthly), with a 7-day free trial. Same Premium feature set as monthly.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• If you cancel during a free trial period before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers retain their original price for the remainder of the active term.

5. User Content

Your photos, adherence logs, measurements, and history are stored locally on your device. You retain all rights to your content. We do not access, collect, or store your content on any server.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, protocol templates, and packaged content, is owned by Bulpara Inc and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended personal purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY MEASUREMENT, ESTIMATE, OR GUIDANCE WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SITUATION.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Medical or treatment decisions made in reliance on the App
• The accuracy of any relative measurement, trend, or phase estimate
• Loss of photos or data due to user error or device failure
• Subscription-related charges that fall under Apple's billing policy

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, including any content you store or export.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the business.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
